In this session, Florence will present the new IEEE 2933™-2024 Standard for Clinical IoT Data and Device Interoperability. She will introduce the TIPPSS framework—Trust, Identity, Privacy, Protection, Safety, and Security—designed to strengthen connected healthcare systems and ensure safe, interoperable, and secure data exchange.
This standard has implications not only for healthcare, but also for broader cyber-physical systems including smart cities, smart grids, and more.
